After his graduation (1998), Bernd worked several years as a photo-assistant in Hamburg and all over the world.

Parallel, he developed and produced new TV Shows such as “Pudel Overnight” (Europe’s longest TV Show ever, feat. Rocko Schamoni & Schorsch Kamerun), Nightflow” (a TV Show in which Europe’s capitals were introduced from the perspective of a skateboard) and many more with with Fritz Brinckmann, a famous Hamburg photographer and artist. He also shot his first image film for famous backpack manufacturer EASTPAK there, feat. some of Germany’s best Skate- &

Snowboarders (1996).

Starting his own career as a photographer in the late 90’s, Bernd worked for commercial clients (agencies/magazines/music industry) as well as organizing several single- and group-exhibitions with other photographers. His mix of commercial work and the constant search for conceptional ideas that raise an

eyebrow or sparkle a smile helped him a lot when the film industry knocked on his door…

Since 2001, Bernd is also directing music videos and commercials for international clients all over the world.
„Photography or film, I don’t care about what I’m doing, it’s more about how I can express myself in different ways”, he says.

Bernd loves to shoot outside, he handles big productions as well as studio beauty and catalogue shoots. He is fully integrated in the CGI Process, working closely

with major CGI Production houses.
