Ole Peters – born in 1971 in northern Germany – worked mainly as a freelance graphic-designer in the print business after finishing his education as a type setter. Husum, Munich and Hamburg are the interstations on his way to motion design. In 2001 he founded the company „Labor TV-Design GmbH“ with Gerrit Siegfriedsen and wrote the book „After Effects 5.5 Compositing, Motion Design and Animation“ in 2002, published by the Galileo publishing house in Bonn.
Today, Ole Peters is Chief Creative Officer of the well-established postproduction and motion design house Sehsucht in Hamburg. He and his Team of now 30 employees have won numerous awards. In 2006 and 2007 Ole Peters was member of the jury of the New York clio award.
Sehsucht has worked for several well-known clients, including Jung von Matt, Kolle Rebbe, TBWA, KemperTrautmann, Leo Burnett, McCann and Springer & Jacoby as well as film production companies like Marken Film Hamburg and Neue Sentimental Film.
